Iron Man question
Just saw the movie, but have one question:

Why did Obadiah call her "Deborah"? Is her name actually Deborah Pepper Potts? (or Pepper Deborah Potts?)

I totally missed that. When did he say that?
I'm also not a big expert on Iron Man but I was under the impression that her name was just Pepper. *shrugs* Not much help am I? :)

when Obadiah walked into his office & found Pepper there copying files onto the (portable harddrive?)...he asked a question, and put the name "Deborah" - not "Pepper" or "Miss Potts" - in it.

all I know of Iron Man is what I saw in the theater this afternoon.

Huh. No idea.
I have to admit. I had to snicker a bit when I heard her name was Pepper Potts but then a lot of female comic characters have just ridiculous names.

Funny enough, I was talking to my grandmother and she was trying to remember this movie she went to see years ago.

"Something called Octopus," she said.
We were scratching our heads trying to figure it out. Turns out it was Octopussy, the Bond film.

Just a funny little coinkydink. ;)

In the comics, her actual name is Virginia. Don't know where Deborah came from.

Her nickname is Pepper because her name is Potts, she has red hair and a temper.
